We have a loyal herd of 12 horses and ponies, 6 of whom are working reguarly.Including Breagha, our Highland part Eriskay mare, who is also used as a packpony.

Above is Breagha in training to be a pack pony and below is a picture of her when she was younger, investigating the landrover with Denver.

This is Denver also known as Big D, He is such a gentleman.

Joe and Phoenix,Joe the big chestnut Irish sports horse is sadly now retired but still living here at Templestones.

Here is Bob who is a fun, easy horse and brilliant for riders of all levels. Here you can see him "coralled" on one of our expeditions!

Flo is also retired now, after really getting things going for us, very "forward going"!Also Hamish our little Shetland Pony as well.

Mum is called Dusty Springfield and is an Irish Draft cross Connemara and her foal is Capercaille (horse of the forest) whose father was a Fresian.Below is an up to date piture of them at feed time.

Our other newest addition is Marv (Marvellous), who is now a part of the herd.Marv is a Clydesdale cross Cob who completed a charity ride from John'O'Groats to Lands End and is proving to be a real gentleman. Here he is meeting Big D when he first arrived.

We had 2 young Highland mares, Breagha and Kendra. Sadly we lost Kendra in August to Grass Sickness. She was a very special little horse who showed great potential as our lead mare and is sadly missed by all the creatures great and small at Templestone Trails.Above are some pictures of Kendra on her first trail ride and learning the ropes by following the big fellas.
As well as being used as a pack pony for long rides, Breagha is also ridden out.
